PA Health and Environment Studies: Study 1 (Childhood cancer case-control study)
Recently Completed
Cancer case recruitment: A total of 897 recruitment letters were sent to eligible case families that also included the brochure, response card and return envelope during the period of recruitment. In addition, 123 case families were mailed a third letter upon obtaining a corrected address. Study enrollment of case families and completion of the Qualtrics questionnaire has now concluded, and we have interviewed 239 case families.
Control recruitment: A total of 8,355 recruitment letters were mailed to matched control families throughout the duration of the recruitment period. Study enrollment of case families and completion of the Qualtrics questionnaire has now concluded, and we have interviewed 648 control families.

Survey data cleaning commenced during this quarter of work and will continue in the final quarter.
Data analyses have commenced and will be completed shortly.
The study team will commence and complete writing all reports in the final quarter of study progress.
